Ashtech’s ADU800 enhances GNSS real-time positioning and attitude determination technology. It is a rugged, fully functioning 6-D positioning system that delivers position and orientation of a point as well as a platform.

Applications for the unit’s accurate heading, pitch, roll data and 3-D velocity/position information for active and inert platforms include a broad range of land, sea, and air uses.

The ADU800 GNSS sensor is equipped with 3 antennas that use carrier phase measurements via three GNSS receivers for quick 3-D attitude data. An automatic calibration feature eliminates the requirement for extra tools.

The ADU800’s primary GNSS board delivers centimeter-level precision in RTK mode. The unit is easily used for such GNSS applications as antenna pointing, weapons, oceanographic research, seismic exploration, dredge positioning, open-pit mining, and gyrocompass calibration purposes.
