The Atlas GNSS Global Correction Service is flexible and scalable, and delivers its correction signals via L-band satellites. Accuracies range from meter to sub-decimeter levels. Virtually the entire globe is covered, as the service leverages about 200 reference stations worldwide with L-band satellites distributing the Atlas corrections.
The Atlas correction service can be used with all Hemisphere Atlas-capable, multi-GNSS hardware, both single- and multi-frequency. Hemisphere’s innovative BaseLink and SmartLink capabilities also allows third-party GNSS receivers to use Atlas corrections.
When using multi-frequency hardware, the Atlas service corrects more satellites than ever before. This enables faster convergence times and ensures that the service is reliable and robust, even in foliage or canopy covered areas. Instant global sub-meter positioning accuracy is achieved that is comparable to SBAS, but typically more robust.
