The Ekinox2-M Subsea MRU from SBG Systems is suitable for use up to 6,000 m and provides outstanding performance. The MRU utilizes the most up-to-date MEMS sensors and offers a high accuracy, robust solution. The cost-effective, compact package makes it ideal for Autonomous Underwater Vehicle and Remotely Operated Vehicle orientation.
Irrespective of weather conditions or sea state, the Ekinox2-M’s robust enclosure together with its delayed heave and accurate attitude capabilities, makes offshore and hydrographic operations a breeze. The unit can also be connected to a Dual Antenna GPS for accurate heading data. Ekinox sensors are compatible with all hydrographic software (Hypack, QPS, Teledyne PDS, etc.).
As it has no mounting orientation limitations, the Ekinox2-M can be fixed under a boat, or on its surface if it needs to be mounted permanently.
