Overview
The IMU-P from Inertial Labs is a new generation IMU that offers compact size, light weight and high performance. It is temperature calibrated within its operational temperature range to ensure tactical grade performance in a wide range of environments and applications.
This cost effective ITAR-free solution is ideal for systems requiring the high performance levels that, previously, only FOG-based IMUs could provide. Based on advanced MEMS sensors, the IMU-P measures pitch & roll, linear acceleration and angular rate.
Angular rates and accelerations are measured with high accuracy for both dynamic and motionless applications.
Mathematically aligned to an orthogonal coordinate system, the IMU-P demonstrate less than 1 deg/hr gyroscopes and 0.005 mg accelerometers bias in-run stability with very low noise and high reliability. Continuous built-in test, configurable communications protocols, electromagnetic interference protection, and flexible input power requirements make the IMU-P easy to use in a wide range of higher order integrated system applications.
The IMU-P comes in two variations – a Tactical version and an Industrial version.
