Overview

The OEM-IMU-EG370N from NovAtel is an advanced Micro Electromechanical System (MEMS) Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) featuring low noise accelerometers and gyros in a small, lightweight enclosure.

The OEM-IMU-EG370N enables precision measurements and high data rates for applications that need rugged durability and high performance in a tiny form factor. This IMU can be integrated with SPAN technology from NovAtel, making it ideal for applications that are size constrained but need accurate 3D position, velocity and attitude (roll, pitch and azimuth) data.

SPAN (Synchronous Position, Attitude and Navigation) technology brings together two different but complementary technologies: Inertial Navigation System (INS) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning. When the stability of Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) measurements and the absolute accuracy of GNSS positioning are combined, it provides an exceptional 3D navigation and attitude solution that is continuously available and stable, even in periods when satellite signals are not available.

NovAtel CORRECT functionality provides your choice of performance and accuracy, from decimeter to RTK-level positioning.
