The NovAtel OEM628 GNSS Receiver is equipped with the new 120 channel ASIC developed by NovAtel. It can track all present GNSS constellations and satellite signals such as GPS and GLONASS. To stay ahead of the game, the NovAtel OEM628 can also track future constellations and signals, including GPS L5, Galileo GIOVE-A/B and Compass. The OEM6 can be upgraded via software to track other signals as they become available.
The NovAtel OEM628 is designed for easy integration. Its OEM-V2 form factor allows for drop-in replacement fit, with backward compatibility. NovAtel offers easy to use development kit and configuration software to its customers to simplify the system integration process. Furthermore, the NovAtel OEM628 supports multiple communication interfaces, including Ethernet for high-speed data transfer.
The OEM628 employs NovAtel’s advanced Pulse Aperture Correlator (PAC) technology to reduce interferences caused by multipath that occurs when signals are being reflected from surfaces such as buildings. This allows the OEM628 to deliver reliable and accurate positioning.
