NovAtel has announced that the RELAY RTK Radio has reached End of Life (EOL) and will not be available for order after May 31, 2019. NovAtel is replacing the RELAY with the RELAY7.



Combine the Relay RTK radio with NovAtel’s SMART6-L to create an RTK base station or RTK rover that can easily be configured using a Smartphone or computer.

The Relay RTK radio features a number of radio options including CDMA (1xRTT/EV-DO) cellular, HSPA (3G) cellular and UHF (400 MHz licensed or 900 MHz unlicensed). Easy system integration is achieved by attaching the Relay RTK radio module to NovAtel’s SMART6-L to create a single unit. The connection can be made with existing/pre-installed SMART6-L interface cables.

As the radio has a cellular radio option, RTK and NTRIP corrections can be received via a cellular network. The relay contains an internal 1 W 900 MHz unlicensed and a 1 W 400 MHz licensed radio to broadcast RTK corrections to a compatible base station.

The Wi-Fi access point and an integrated web-server allows base station configuration to be done by using the web browser of any compatible PC, smartphone or tablet.

Mounting options via screw mount or integrated magnets are provided.
