The Ekinox-D Inertial Navigation System by SBG Systems is an integrated unit that contains an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), an EKF (Extended Kalman Filter), as well as a built-in dual-antenna GNSS receiver. The Ekinox-D offers a survey grade GNSS/INS solution. Its built-in dual-antenna GNSS receiver can track GPS L1/L2 and GLONASS L1/L2 signals, allowing it to deliver accurate true heading information.
The Ekinox-D INS supports up to 4 external aiding equipment. It can be connected to a SONAR and delivers an all-in-one hydrographic surveys solution. It can also be connected to an odometer and can be used in land applications such as mobile mapping. The Ekinox-Ds robust IP68 enclosure makes it ideal for surveying aerospace applications.
