The Trimble BD920-W3G module features a single intuitive web interface allowing a variety of use cases including GNSS rover and base setups. Presented in a compact package, the module provides centimeter accuracy while allowing allows simultaneous customer access to the internet via UMTS or Wi-Fi modem.
All communication and GNSS components are fully shielded to ensure that high quality signals are protected from the EMI sources that may be present on the host platform. This reduces radiated emissions significantly, thus reducing time to market while speeding up compliance certification.
Quick, reliable RTK initializations for 1–2 centimeter positioning is delivered by using either L1 and L2 frequencies from the GPS and GLONASS constellations, or the E1 frequency from Galileo. High accuracy GNSS, DGNSS or SBAS positions are delivered when centimeter accuracy is not required by using an advanced kalman filter PVT engine on the board.
