The Trimble BD940-INS uses its integrated inertial sensors to produce robust, high accuracy positions in all environments. The unit currently supports dual frequency from Galileo and BeiDou, as well as triple frequency from the GLONASS and GPS constellations, but is also ready to use additional signals as the number of satellites in the constellations increase. This delivers reliable RTK initializations quickly for 1–2 centimeter positioning.
If centimeter accuracy is not required, the integrated GNSS-Inertial engine of the BD940-INS delivers high accuracy GNSS and DGNSS positions in challenging environments such as urban canyons.
Different configurations of the module are available and these can be easily upgraded through the password upgrade feature. This allows the user to choose the receiver that suits their application and price point, even when requirements change.
The Trimble BD940-INS is ruggedly dependable and can be easily integrated by using the Ethernet connectivity available on the board. This allows high speed data transfer and configuration with any standard web browser. USB and RS-232 ports are also provided and easy to use software commands makes integration simple and reduces development times.
