Overview
Although the Trimble BD990 already supports triple frequency for all constellations including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo, it is also ready to take advantage of additional signals as the number of satellites in the constellations grow.
The module is available in different configurations. These include a DGPS L1 unit and a four constellation triple frequency RTK unit. As features are password-upgradeable, functionality can easily be upgraded when requirements change.
The Trimble BD990 is a member of a receiver family that supports advanced functionality. It uses the same mechanical footprint and pin-out as the Trimble BD992 which supports dual antenna GNSS heading, and the Trimble BD992-INS which supports orientation and position at high update rates.
The BD990 provides 336 tracking channels, Trimble Everest Plus multipath mitigation, advanced RF spectrum monitoring and analysis, and proven low-elevation tracking technology.
