Overview
The Zephyr 3 Rugged antenna uses robust signal tracking and advanced filtering capabilities, and advanced technology for millimeter phase center stability to deliver excellent low elevation satellite tracking and multipath reduction.
The Zephyr 3 Rugged antenna by Trimble is available in two versions – one for thread 3 inch and the other for 5/8 – 11 inch thread mast mounting.
The unit supports both current and future GNSS signals, including OmniSTAR, Trimble RTX, QZSS, IRNSS, SBAS, Galileo, BeiDou, GPS and GLONASS.
The Zephyr 3 rugged antenna has a signal gain of 50 dB for reliable tracking in long cable runs and challenging environments. The advanced LNA (low noise amplifier) reduces interference by high power transmitters that are out-of-band.
Filtering above 1616 MHz enables the antenna to be used close to iridium transmitters (20 m), while the antenna can be placed closer to Japanese LTE cell towers due to extra iridium filtering below 1510 MHz.
Features
- High signal gain (50 dB) for reliable tracking
- Improved multipath rejection and signal filtering
- Additional Japanese and Iridium LTE filtering
- Robust satellite tracking at low elevations
- Millimeter phase center repeatability
