Overview
The OEM638 GNSS receiver provides flexible positioning options on NovAtel’s most advanced OEM6 receiver. It is capable of tracking all current GNSS signals and upcoming signals GPS L5, Compass and Galileo GIOVE-A and B. The OEM638 receiver offers meter-level to AdVance RTK centimeter-level positioning. Moreover, it is field upgradeable to include additional features.
The OEM638 receiver from NovAtel supports a wide variety of communication interfaces to facilitate simple integration. The API allows system integrators to develop custom-built applications that run on the GNSS receiver. This minimizes hardware requirements and simplifies the integration process.
Furthermore, the OEM638 receiver is SPAN ready, which allows it to be integrated with an Inertial Navigation System to deliver precise and continuous 3D results even at times of signal interruption.
