Overview
The OEMStar single-frequency receiver from NovAtel is a low cost, L1 GPS + GLONASS receiver that enhances satellite availability and positioning. It has the same form factor as NovAtel’s OEMV-1 series and can be integrated into any existing OEMV-1 system through the OEMV/OEM6 command interface. Its compact size allows it to be used in applications where space is a concerned.
The OEMStar can support up to 14 channels and is capable of delivering reliable and accurate results. It can be upgraded to the OEM615 receiver board easily. Moreover, its firmware has a modular design, which allows for easy upgrades to include additional functionalities such as GL1D and RAIM.
Furthermore, the OEMStar is fully customizable through Application Programming Interface (API), allowing developers to build applications in standard C/C++ and run them on the receiver platform. No additional system hardware is needed.
