The PwrPak7-E2 GNSS/INS is a SPAN enabled enclosure featuring NovAtel's tightly coupled GNSS+INS engine to provide an exceptional 3D navigation solution that is stable and continuously available.



The PwrPak7-E2 GNSS/INSS from NovAtel contains Synchronous Position, Attitude and Navigation (SPAN) technology that combines two different but complementary technologies – an Inertial Navigation System (INS) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning.

The stability of Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) gyro and accelerometer measurements is tightly coupled with absolute accuracy of GNSS positioning to provide a 3D navigation solution that is continuously available and stable, even when satellite signals are blocked.

The PwrPak7-E2 contains an Epson G370N MEMS IMU that delivers SPAN technology in an integrated, single box solution. Built on top of the reputable PwrPak7 family, it provides excellent performance, quick alignment and seamless positioning. This device provides an excellent midrange price/performance/size GNSS+INS solution.

The PwrPak7-E2 can track all present and upcoming GNSS satellite and constellations signals. It is software upgradable in the field to provide the custom performance required for specific application demands.

NovAtel has also introduced a Wifi-free variant to the PwrPak7-E2 for increased cyber security. The PwrPak7Q-E2 provides secure access through wired mediums only, and features proven interference detection from NovAtel, and GNSS+INS SPAN technology with an Epson G370 IMU for ensured positioning across challenging environments. The compact and secure PwrPak7Q-E2 is lightweight, discreet and fully secure with no Wi-Fi chip. All data, including interference mitigation, can be logged internally with up to 16 GB of available internal storage.

NovAtel products come with a one-year warranty. The warranty, provided by NovAtel, covers any product which does not materially conform to NovAtel’s specifications or that is significantly defective in materials or workmanship, for a period of 12 months from the date of shipment. Accessories come with a similar 90-day warranty. NovAtel’s Extended Warranty Program provides the option to increase the duration of the warranty by an additional 12 or 24 months.
