Overview

The BD935-INS module from Trimble features a high accuracy, triple frequency GNSS receiver for precise position and an integrated MEMS inertial sensor package for 3-D orientation to serve applications requiring position and attitude. The GNSS + Inertial combination delivers more stability and robustness than GNSS alone.

The BD935-INS GNSS module from Trimble provides a robust navigation solution, not just a GNSS receiver. The integrated inertial sensors produces robust high accuracy positions to centimeter accuracy in all environments. A single interface protocol and intuitive web interface the module to support numerous dynamic models.

As the GNSS components are fully shielded, the high quality signals are protected from the sources of EMI on the host platform. The Trimble BD935-INS already supports triple frequency for the GLONASS and GPS constellations, as well as dual frequency from Galileo and BeiDou, but is also ready to take advantage of new signals as the number of satellites in the constellations grows.

This delivers reliable, quick RTK initializations for 1–2 centimeter positioning. For applications that don’t need centimeter accuracy, the BD935-INS integrated GNSS-Inertial engine delivers high accuracy GNSS, DGNSS positions, even in the most challenging environments.

The BD935-INS is also available in different configurations, including a DGPS L1 unit and a four constellation triple frequency RTK unit. This allows you to choose the receiver best suited to your application and price point, but as the features are password-upgradeable, you can always upgrade the functionality when your requirements change.
