Overview
The VEXXIS GNSS-501 GNSS antenna from NovAtel is a high performance, single-frequency, ruggedized antenna with an IP67 rating. Its low-profile design with aerodynamic enclosure, along with multi-constellation and L-Band support makes it ideal for terrestrial applications.
The VEXXIS GNSS-501 antenna is ideal for ground vehicles in applications such as mobile mapping, agriculture and machine control. The combination of intelligent enclosure design of the GNSS-501 is easy to install or move between ground vehicle platforms with magnetic mounting options.
The GNSS-501 antenna supports single-frequency GPS L1, GLONASS L1, Galileo E1, and BeiDou B1. It also supports L-Band signal reception.
The antenna has a weatherproof design with IP67 rating. Its MIL-STD-810G rating has been earned through 1000 hours of intense vibration testing. Moreover, its water-resistant design allows it to operate even under high pressure spray or heavy rainfall.
The superior multi-path signal rejection of the GNSS-501 provides excellent circularly polarized, symmetric radiation patterns. The key to achieving extraordinary performance is strictly balancing the signals and feeding the antenna at multiple points. The multi-point feeding network provides very low loss and frequency independent amplitude/phase balance.
